Caregiver & Respite-Care Support Package

 

Caring for a loved one, while rewarding can often be tiring

 

and we may feel neglectful when allowing others to shoulder some of the burden. Our staff are trained and caring individuals who are dedicated to providing efficient and effective care so you don't need to feel like your loved one is getting less than they deserve. Our Caregiver & Respite Care Services allow you to recharge your batteries, resting comfortably in the knowledge that your loved one is being cared for by compassionate professionals. Taking time of yourself does more than just renew energy and relieve stress it also gives your loved one a chance to interact with someone new, which is often a welcome distraction. It's important to us that you are

comfortable knowing the person caring for your loved one provides respectful, safe and professional care.  We strive to match personalities and continuity of care with every client and will work tirelessly to ensure that all of our clients are satisfied with our performance.

 

At any time you can speak to our Health Care Coordinator to change or upgrade your services.

 

Caregiver & Respite Care Package includes;

  • Temporary relief for the caregiver
  • Companionship
  • Mobility Assistance
  • Support for Light Recreational Activities (participate in crafts, playing cards, etc.)
  • Emotional Support
  • *Access to our Support Group
  • Assist with Medication Reminders
  • *Escort Client to Professional or Group Appointment
  • Any other services required, such as Personal Support or Nursing can be addressed with our Health Care Coordinator during the initial Home Care Assessment visit.

*certain conditions may apply, ask your HomeCare on Wheels Health Care Coordinator during the initial assessment

 

In addition, to these regular HomeCare Support Services, our Home Support Team will, at no additional cost, offer the following:

  • Regularly review and supervise the Caregiver & Respite Care Services you're receiving, and adjust these services as required.
  • Remain available to you and your loved one 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to answer any questions, or solve any issues that you may have regarding your loved one's care
  • With you and your loved one's consent, consult with other health care professionals as necessary
